IGP allows all policemen to issue traffic
tickets to offenders
At last, the police is doing something to prevent road accidents. After all these years, something is being planned and said about. Noting down the vehicle number and sending summons to vehicle owner? Will this help? Is it a good move? It has many loopholes. Vehicle owner can use some of these phrases; "What if the policeman wrote wrongly?", "What proof do you have?" To think of it, we may even publish a book "What if..... ?" and sells it. I think the police should tackle other issues as well, not sending summonses only. They should note down vehicles that has been modified. Some of the vehicle is fixed with exhaust-pipe that is loud, I wonder if it is legal to do that ? |
