I noticed that there are many drivers who are selfishly driving on the emergency lanes, a practice you can easily see when the road is jammed with cars, especially in the morning and evening. 

To all this selfish drivers, it seems that other drivers are happy with the jam just because they are not on the emergency lane.

I feel that these actions has to be put to a stop. But how, traffic police cannot be placed at all the streets and start to book them. This will cause more havoc to the traffic situation.

I strongly believe that there is a way, a way where we can educate these drivers, both men and women and of all races. Their friends must tell them, what they are doing is terribly wrong. 

HOW TO CURB THIS???

I have been thinking about having a digital camera to snap the car that is on the emergency lane, post it on the website, someone who knew the driver should call up and tell the driver that his or her car is on the website..... and is listed in the "SELFISH DRIVER" column. 

Hopefully this will change the driver's attitude. Well, there is no 100% cure for this but it will be good if there is a 10% decrease.

SUMMARY

I am lucky though that none of my friends are in these group. I have been telling my friends and will keep on telling, that this (driving on the emergency lanes) is not healthy. 

Keep reminding them helps a lot and sometimes we also notice that drivers do not turn on their signal when making a turn.
